Ever wondered how winemakers know when grapes are perfectly ready for harvest? Or how weather, temperature, and flavor all come together in the vineyard to shape the wines you love?

Join Ron Mosley, Cinnabar owner and vineyard expert, for "The Art of Harvest" — an engaging, hands-on seminar that brings you into the heart of the harvest season. With over 40 years of experience, Ron will guide you through the science and sensory skills behind harvest decisions, all while sharing stories from his journey in winegrowing.
🌿 What You’ll Experience:
After a short demonstration in the winery, we’ll head into the vineyard to:

Learn how to test grape ripeness through sugar, acid, pH, and color measurements
Explore aroma profiles and flavor tasting straight from the vine
Discover how to estimate grape tonnage
Try your hand at harvesting grapes

Following the workshop, enjoy a box lunch and Cinnabar wine at our tranquil vineyard propery near the eastern foothills of Gilroy.

Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for vineyard walking
Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended
